  Gabrielle Marega is a fourth-year PhD candidate researching how to expand urban sanitation infrastructure in low and middle-income countries to achieve universal and equitable access to safely managed sanitation services. Previously, she worked as an intern at Suez. She holds a MASc in Sanitation and Hydraulics Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo, a MEng in General Engineering from CentraleSupelec (Paris-Saclay University), and a BASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo.

  I am Behnam Motamedi, a doctoral researcher at the University of Oulu, Finland. I have a passion for advancing the efficiency and longevity of water and wastewater networks in Finland. My notable achievements include successfully leading the implementation of the Smart Hydraulic Model for the Qom and Isfahan-Iran Water Distribution Network over four years as a Project Manager. Additionally, I have shared my expertise as an instructor, teaching wastewater treatment engineering software in civil and water engineering at various universities. Currently, my research focuses on data analysis and strategic planning for wastewater networks, with a specialization in detecting inflow and infiltration.
