  Robert Ljubičić holds the position of an Assistant Professor at the Department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade. The focus of his work is investigation, development, and implementation of modern digital engineering technologies involving computer vision, unmanned aerial vehicles, and computational fluid dynamics. He is the author and developer of the image velocimetry software SSIMS-Flow.

  After obtaining a PhD in Physics at the University of Antwerp, the speaker has been working for more than 10 years as a researcher in Aquafin NV on different topics including hydrogen sulfide induced corrosion, combined sewer overflows, nature based solutions and water quality modelling.   The author is a Professor in the School of Environment and Energy Engineering at the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.His research interests lie in the area of urban stormwater runoff pollution control, stormwater hydrology and hydraulics, sponge city planning and management. He has presided and participated in more than 25 projects at the provincial and ministerial level, and more than 50 projects for enterprises.
