  Jean-Luc Bertrand-Krajewski is professor of Urban Hydrology at INSA Lyon, France (National Institute for Applied Sciences) since 1997. He was director of the laboratory DEEP (Laboratory on Wastes, Water, Environment and Pollution) from 2014 to 2020. He is co-president of the OTHU Research Federation (Field Observatory of Urban Hydrology) since 2023 (www.othu.org). His research topics are related to urban water systems, especially hydraulic and pollutants transport modelling, monitoring and metrology, stormwater management, SUDs, green roofs, integrated approach for urban water systems, and historical aspects of urban drainage and hydrology, with numerous national and international collaborations. He was chair of the IWA/IAHR Specialist Group on Urban Drainage (2005-2008), member of the IWA Strategic Council from 2010 to 2018 and is member of IWA Publishing Board of Directors since 2018.   Dr. Huang Peng is a reseach assistant proffessor in the department of civil engineering, the University of Hong Kong. His research interests include: (1) Porous pavements, low impact development, stormwater management; (2) Hyporheic exchange, river restoration; (3) Groundwater & surface flow interaction modeling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) open channel flow modeling; and (4) Flooding risk assessment induced by sea level rise and storm surges and management strategy, etc.

  Erica Orsi is currently a third year PhD Student in Environment Design and Innovation at the Department of Civil Engineering at the Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, under the supervision of Professor Corrado Gisonni. Her thesis title is “Hydraulic and hydrologic invariance: effectiveness of SuDS techniques”. The research topic of the PhD thesis is the analysis of the hydraulic and hydrologic performance of SuDS, with a focus on the green roofs. In particular, the project aims to study the effects of the installation of green roofs on the operation of the sewer system serving the urban catchment with green roofs under different climate and site conditions. In 2022, Erica won the second place of the IAHR Gerhard Jirka Award for Young Researchers in Athens (Greece). The award recognises the quality, originality, and relevance of the presentation given by a Young Professional during the biennial IAHR Europe Division Congress.
