  My name is Martina Hauser, I am 27 years old (at the time of the conference) and I am doing my PhD in Environmental Engineering at the University of Innsbruck. The title of my dissertation is "Improvement of flood modelling and and adaptation of urban water management to to climate change". Before that I studied civil engineering at the University of Technology, Graz (TU Graz). I completed my bachelor and two master degrees in "Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering" and "Infrastructure". During my master studies I spent one semester abroad in Spain. Since October 2021 I am working as a research assistant at the University of Innsbruck.

  PhD student in civil engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, Sandrine completed an integrated bachelor's and master's program before transitioning to the doctoral program. Her research focuses on adapting and developing an Australian multicriteria spatial analysis tool for the strategic planning of blue-green infrastructure (BGI) in the Quebec urban context, Canada. The use of tools based on multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) and geographic information systems (GIS) has the potential to facilitate BGI planning decision-making processes while promoting an interdisciplinary and interactive approach, essential for maximizing the potential socio-environmental benefits of these systems.
