  Isabel Seifert-Dähnn has a background in environmental sciences and economics. In the last years her research has concentrated around climate change adaptation, stormwater management in cities, challenges and opportunities for using nature-based-solutions, ecosystem services and sustainable development goals as well as management of water bodies, which are heavily influenced by human use. She combines social science approaches like surveys, multi-criteria assessment and choice experiments with modelling techniques like Bayesian Networks and system dynamics modelling. To understand socio-environmental-economic systems i.e. how people impact nature and the other way around is her main interest. Isabel´s main goal is to make her research useful for society. She collaborates for example closely with the municipal sector to find good solutions for climate change adaptation in Norwegian cities. Isabel´s international experience covers projects in Sri Lanka, India, China and several European countries.

  Dr. Sarah Waickowski is an Assistant Professor at Clemson University in the Department of Agricultural Sciences. Her research focuses on stormwater management, particularly low impact development practices. During time as an Extension Associate at North Carolina State University, Sarah designed, constructed, and/or monitored the performance of bioretention cells, suspended pavement systems, subsurface gravel wetlands, permeable pavement, and constructed wetlands.

  Zhengdong Sun is a Ph.D. candidate at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, specializing in sustainable assessment and decision-making within stormwater management. With the background in sustainability science, he brings expertise in exploring fundamental sustainability concepts, especially in the governance and management of green and blue infrastructures. His research centers on developing decision-support frameworks to comprehensively understand the sustainable stormwater management. Zhengdong's Ph.D. project specifically focuses on conducting holistic sustainability assessments and implementing multi-functional approaches for stormwater management, with a primary focus on Sweden.
