Botanical Gardens Beer Tasting
The Tuesday social event will take us back 800 years, to when the beer culture in Delfts started. Based on the fact that the normal populus wanted something beyond water to drink, and wine was too expensive, over 200 breweries settled in Delft. The peaty water that was all around the city gave the beers a unique flavour.
During the tasting session, you will be challenged to identify the 5 different beers that are on offer from the local brewer Koperen Kat. If you can correctly identify them, you might just be in with a winning ticket….
The beer tasting event, which will includes snacks, will take place inthe Hortus Botanicus, the Botanical Gardens of the TU Delft. A map is available in your booklet.
